French Baroque Music at St. Michael's

The third event in the 2012-2013 Concert Series at St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 4315 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida will be on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at 4pm with French  Baroque Chamber Music performed by the Alachua Consort: Annemieke Pronker-Coron, violin, John Netardus, oboe, and Dr. Miriam Zach, organ. Music includes sonatas by Louis-Nicolas ClĂ©rambault, François Couperin, Antoine Dornel, Elisabeth-Claude Jacquet de la Guerre, and Carl Rosier. The concert is free of charge. Donations to St. Michael's are welcome.

From the Music Director Dr. Miriam Zach

We would like to invite you to our international King's College, Cambridge Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 10:30am, St. Michael's Episcopal Church, 4315 NW 23rd Avenue, Gainesville, Florida with the St. Michael's Singers, St. Michael's Recorder Ensemble, and the Alachua Consort Annemieke Pronker-Coron, violinist; John Netardus, oboist ; Dr. Miriam Zach, organist and Director of Music St. Michael's. In addition to congregational singing of carols from our 1982 Hymnal, the choir will sing anthems by Palestrina, Kodaly, Rachmaninov, Rutter, Aleotti, and Vittoria from Italy, Hungary, Russia, France, Puerto Rico, Holland, and Spain, with chamber music from Belgium, England, and Germany.
